Join us on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 10:00am at the Dish Restaurant for our Morning Brew Workshop with guest speaker, Stu Walesh, PhD, PE, a consultant, teacher and author. Based on what science has learned about the brain in recent years, Stu will explain the basics of how your brain–the three-pound marvel between your ears–works. You’ll learn ways to use basic brain knowledge to enhance your life. He’ll discuss making better use of your time, changing a bad habit to a good habit, circumventing negativity bias, setting and achieving goals, generating ideas, and finally, caring for your brain. Stu’s excellent summary handout will give you the tools to apply these “brain basics” to your life.
